About this file

Addendum No. 2 for Request for Proposal (RFP) UCO-973 is issued by the City University of New York (CUNY) for Vending Machine Operations, dated April 30, 2025. This addendum provides clarifying information for prospective proposers, including details about student enrollment, employee data, sales figures, machine counts, and operational specifics across CUNY campuses. The document addresses 20 specific questions from potential bidders, covering topics such as machine types, sales by category, commissions, pricing, and operational constraints. There is no mandatory pre-proposal conference, but proposers wishing to conduct self-guided tours must email SHDBids@cuny.edu in advance with visit details.

The addendum reveals that CUNY currently does not have a pouring rights contract with Coca-Cola or Pepsi, and there are no exclusive food service providers for individual schools. The commission structure is consistently 26% of sales across all machine types, with commissions paid in a lump sum to CUNY. No revenue was generated from advertising during the specified periods, and there were no sponsorships. Proposers are instructed to refer to various attachments for detailed information on machine counts, sales, commissions, and current pricing. The document includes a signature section requiring proposers to acknowledge understanding of the addendum, with the university reserving the right to reject proposals that do not include properly signed addenda.
