The location will have up to 9 typical front load 8-yd dumpsters that are serviced by front load garbage trucks that sit on an existing one-way street. The anticipated construction start date will be January 4, 2027 with the project to be completed within 90 days from notice to proceed. We strongly recommend that you visit the location site to familiarize yourself with the area which is located at approximately 90 Hansell Street.

Proposals shall be based upon the concept drawings and photos with this request and similarly designed as to the existing dumpster enclosure located at 25 Winters Street, Marietta Ga. The overall style and colors will be consistent with the current architecture of the buildings in the City of Marietta Square and the latest constructed dumpster enclosures located at 28 Whitlock Avenue and 25 Winters Street. Contractor proposal shall include a rendering concept of the dumpster enclosure.

The enclosure size shall be kept to a minimum but be large enough to accommodate up to 9 dumpsters back-to-back, provide patron use from the inside with gates shut and be able to be serviced by front load garbage trucks.

Servicing of the dumpsters will require the service vehicle to pull into the enclosure pull the dumpster out and empty and set it aside to retrieve and empty all dumpsters in this manner. The dumpsters are replaced into the enclosure when all have been emptied. The anticipated enclosure walls inside dimensions are approximately 13’W x 60’L x 10’H. The proposal shall include a roof system with metal roof at a clear height elevation to accommodate a front load garbage truck to enter, retrieve, and replace the dumpsters. Roof shall be a shed roof and sloped from south to north with approximate 1” per 1’ slope. Lowest portion of the roof shall be at least 13’6” above the street elevation.
