About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Hidalgo Independent School District (HISD) in Texas for the purchase and delivery of janitorial supplies. The RFP solicits sealed proposals from qualified, experienced vendors to provide a comprehensive range of janitorial products required for district operations. The solicitation establishes specific requirements for product quality, delivery schedules, and vendor qualifications. Interested vendors must submit their proposals by the deadline specified in the RFP document, with awards anticipated following a formal evaluation process. The contract will establish terms for ongoing supply delivery throughout the specified contract period, with provisions for potential renewal options to be determined by the district based on vendor performance and continued need.
The RFP details pricing structures, payment terms, and any applicable set-asides for small or minority-owned businesses as designated by the district. Vendors should note any incumbent supplier relationships and the current janitorial supply environment within HISD. Funding for this procurement derives from the district's operational budget allocated for facilities maintenance and janitorial operations. Detailed specifications for required products, delivery locations, quality standards, and performance metrics are outlined within the RFP documentation to ensure vendors understand all expectations and can submit competitive, compliant proposals that meet the district's operational needs.
