About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the SC Vocational Rehabilitation Department to solicit vendor input on security cameras, digital video recorders, and access control hosting solutions. The RFI seeks information on equipment and software options that integrate with the agency's current Clinton Electronics cameras and Brivo access control system. SCVRD is in the exploratory phase and has not committed to issuing a future solicitation. Vendors must respond by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, with responses emailed to Jennifer Coleman at jcoleman@scvrd.net. Interested vendors must be U.S.-based and provide primary contact information, business name, direct email and telephone number, a brief summary of their product solution not to exceed 300 words, and a link to their business website. The agency reserves the right to request in-person presentations of proposed solutions following the initial vendor submissions.
SCVRD seeks a solution supporting approximately 500 or more cameras with specific features including Active Directory integration, open platform architecture, browser-based management console, IP-based cameras with night vision and 8 MP 4K or higher resolution, latest video compression technology, on-premise deployment to reduce bandwidth and total cost of ownership, 60-day recording retention, system error notifications, remote monitoring capabilities, and potential AI integration for footage search. The agency prefers solutions without recurring license fees and with user-friendly training. The RFI is used for market research purposes only, and participation does not constitute a contract or guarantee that a future solicitation will be issued. SCVRD will not be responsible for any costs incurred by vendors in providing information.
