The RFI requires potential vendors to provide detailed information about their cost structures, including fixed versus variable costs, labor rates per square foot, administrative fees, and markups on subcontracted services. The state is seeking transparency in pricing and is interested in innovative pricing approaches that can accommodate facilities of varying complexity and scope. Vendors are asked to describe their experience with public sector facility management, particularly in Tennessee, their technology platforms for work order tracking and asset management, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking methods, energy efficiency programs, staff recruitment and retention strategies, incident management approaches, and capabilities in managing specialized facilities like mental health hospitals, transportation facilities, and laboratories. The RFI explicitly states that responding to this document does not guarantee future solicitation opportunities and that the state will not reimburse vendors for response costs.
