About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the City of College Park, Georgia, seeking qualified consulting firms to provide expertise in municipal public works operations, organizational assessments, operational efficiency studies, staffing analyses, and performance management. The RFI solicits information from firms experienced in evaluating public works departments' operational structures, processes, and performance metrics to support the city's efforts to assess and improve its public works operational efficiency and organizational capabilities. The document outlines the scope of services desired, including comprehensive organizational assessments and efficiency recommendations, though specific deliverable quantities, response deadlines, site visit requirements, and any scheduled bidders' conferences are not detailed in the available documentation. The RFI serves as an initial information-gathering phase to identify qualified consultants and their relevant experience before the city may proceed to a formal competitive procurement process.

The RFI does not specify pricing terms, contract award amounts, contract duration, or renewal options at this stage, as it functions as a pre-procurement information request rather than a formal solicitation with defined financial parameters. No set-asides, incumbent information, or specific funding sources are identified in the available documentation. This RFI represents the city's preliminary step in developing its approach to operational improvement and allows the municipality to assess the consultant market and available expertise before issuing a more detailed request for proposals or qualifications.
