About this file
This is a flyer announcing a community listening session hosted by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) for the procurement of Respite Master Agreement Services. The listening session is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will be conducted online via the COMMBUYS platform. The session is designed to gather input from current providers of Respite and Peer Respite services, though other interested parties are welcome to attend. DMH intends to issue a formal Request for Response (RFR) to procure Master Agreement Respite Services in November 2026, and this listening session serves as a preliminary engagement opportunity to inform the procurement process and obtain stakeholder feedback on service delivery needs and provider capabilities.
The flyer emphasizes collaborative engagement with the provider community prior to the formal procurement announcement. No specific contract terms, pricing structures, award dates, or renewal options are detailed in this document, as it functions solely as an informational notice for the listening session. The session provides potential bidders and current service providers an opportunity to understand DMH's requirements and priorities before the official RFR is released, enabling providers to prepare comprehensive proposals aligned with the department's service expectations and strategic objectives for respite care services in Massachusetts.
