About this file
This Request for Quote document pertains to a residential HVAC installation project in Georgia funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program resources. The project requires the furnishing and installation of a complete residential-grade split-system heating and cooling system that meets all current local mechanical codes, manufacturer specifications, and energy efficiency standards. The system must meet a minimum of 15 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating. Acceptable equipment brands are limited to Trane, RUUD, Goodman, Rheem, Bryant, and Ameristar. All installations must be permitted and pass inspection before payment is released.
Pricing terms and specific contract details including quote submission deadlines, award dates, and contract term length should be referenced directly within the Request for Quote document. The project operates under CDBG funding requirements, which typically mandate compliance with federal procurement regulations and prevailing wage standards. The contractor must ensure all work meets local code requirements and receives final inspection approval prior to project completion and payment authorization.
