Fence System. The requested training is necessary to acquaint their engineers with the design tools that are needed in order to develop and maintain the systems.

4. Market research was performed reviewing Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) and System for Award Management (SAM) databases using North American Industry Classification System

(NAICS) Code (611420) looking for companies that could provide Xilinx Training. A review of small businesses to include 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, and

Women Owned Small Business was conducted in search of a company that could provide Xilinx

Training. In review, Xilinx, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM); however, the company’s only subcontractor for the Oklahoma region is Faster Technology. Faster Technology does not possess a SAM.gov account.

5. In the future, the Government will continue to monitor the market to find both small and large businesses that are capable of providing mentoring services. Market research for this requirement will be ongoing.

6. I have determined, in accordance with FAR 13, that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available.
