About this file

This document is a Sole Source (Including Brand Name) Justification - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items for a federal contract opportunity.

The justification explains that Avionics Interface Technologies (AIT) is the sole developer and maintainer of the ANDA systems required, which are a specialized combination of hardware, software, and components tailored to the Air Force Test Center's (AFTC) specific needs. The ANDA system is already in use on the B-21 Stingray and B-52 bomber fleet. The contracting office plans to post a brand-name solicitation on SAM.gov, as market research did not identify any other sources capable of meeting the full requirements. The anticipated price is deemed fair and reasonable based on previous purchases and price comparisons. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced, technically-acceptable offeror. The solicitation number is FA930224Q0091, and the requested delivery is 180 days after receipt of order.
