About this file
This is a Questions & Responses document from the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) addressing vendor inquiries regarding a building kit procurement. A vendor raised concerns about lead times of approximately 4-7 months from contract execution to delivery, which extends beyond the originally stated Fall/Winter 2026 delivery target. OPRHP clarified that while the initial intention was to receive items by Fall/Winter 2026, the agency will consider delivery dates extending past Winter 2026. Bidders are instructed to enter their earliest possible delivery timeline in the "Guaranteed Delivery Days After Receipt of Order" field on the RFQ Bid Form to ensure accurate project scheduling and evaluation.
The response indicates OPRHP's flexibility regarding delivery schedules while maintaining transparency in the procurement process. This clarification allows vendors to propose realistic lead times without automatic disqualification, while enabling OPRHP to assess whether extended timelines remain acceptable for project completion. The document serves as an official communication to all contacted vendors and will be posted to the advertisement, ensuring all potential bidders receive consistent information regarding delivery expectations and bidding requirements.

1 - Lead times from contract to the delivery of our building kit is approximately 4-7 months. This falls outside of the "Approximate delivery date - Fall/Winter 2026" timeline that has been identified. Is this acceptable?
OPRHP's intension was to have these items delivered by fall/winter 2026; however, OPRHP will consider dates past winter 2026. When bidding please fill in the Guaranteed Delivery Days After Receipt of Order field on the RFQ Bid Form with the earliest delivery date possible.
