About this file
This performance work statement outlines requirements for HVAC piping upgrades at the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center/Office building in Swanton, Vermont. The scope of work includes replacing rusting steel pipe hangers and fittings, pressure testing and re-insulating well water and chilled water piping systems, replacing the severely rusted plate and frame heat exchanger, and ensuring the HVAC system is fully operational upon completion of the 120-day period of performance. Interested contractors must visit the site, submit materials and cost proposals for consideration, and meet all applicable codes and standards. Upon acceptance of the completed work, the contractor must provide operations and maintenance manuals and training. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seeking proposals for the HVAC improvements specified in the performance work statement at the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge in Vermont.
