About this file
This is a Proposer RFP Checklist document for the City of Santa Monica, California, outlining procedural requirements for responding to a request for proposals for real-time bus arrival predictions and alerts for Big Blue Bus (BBB) customers. The checklist emphasizes the importance of thoroughly reviewing the entire RFP document, identifying mandatory requirements and critical deadlines, and attending the pre-proposal conference if available to clarify ambiguities or seek additional information. Proposers must submit questions by specified due dates and review all formal addenda posted on the City's OpenGov online vendor portal before submission. The response must follow the exact format specified in the RFP with point-by-point answers to all sections presented in clear and concise language. All addenda must be acknowledged with signed documentation submitted alongside the proposal response.
The checklist stresses strict adherence to submission deadlines, with explicit notation that late proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances. Prior to final submission, proposers must verify that all required items have been completed, all RFP requirements have been addressed, and all relevant addenda have been reviewed and acknowledged. The evaluation of proposals will be based exclusively on the information and materials provided in the submitted response, making thorough preparation and compliance with procedural requirements essential for consideration.
