All connections must be 2-1/2 inch diameter cam and groove quick disconnect fittings with nonferrous metal isolation valves rated to 150 PSI minimum. The contractor must provide a minimum 200-gallon propane tank with level indicator, ensure California fuel emissions compliance and obtain all necessary operating permits, and maintain sufficient fuel supply with the government providing two days' advance notification for refills.
The contractor bears full responsibility for preventative maintenance, weekly inspections, repairs, and training throughout the lease period, excluding only daily liquid level checks. Repair service must be provided within 12 hours of notification, with replacement equipment delivered within 48 hours if the original equipment cannot be restored within 24 hours, at no additional charge. The contractor must deliver the system fully fueled, assembled, and operational, provide comprehensive technical documentation including operations manuals and equipment data sheets, and maintain 24/7 emergency repair contact availability. The contractor must uniquely tag all equipment, coordinate maintenance scheduling in writing with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), and provide training to shipyard personnel throughout the lease duration.
