About this file

This document is a price modification letter dated June 20th, 2022, submitted by Premise One LLC to the Arizona Department of Administration State Procurement Office regarding their existing Security and Protection Systems state contract (CTR056385). The communication is directly addressed to Crista Clevenger and proposes price adjustments for labor rates across multiple technical positions.

The proposed price modifications reflect significant labor market pressures, with the company citing over 30% Consumer Price Index (CPI) growth during the contract period. Premise One is requesting revised labor rates for positions including Technician, Programmer/Advanced Technician, Foreman, Project Manager, and CAD/BIM Designer, with increases ranging from approximately 20-44% across base and overtime rates. The rates are proposed to take effect upon the contract's optional renewal, and the company emphasizes that these rates still represent a substantial discount compared to their standard private sector pricing. The proposed new rates include Technician base rates increasing from $50 to $72, Programmer/Advanced Technician from $60 to $80, and other positions showing similar proportional increases.

Re: Security and Protection Systems – CTR056385 Subject: Price Modifications To Whom it may concern, Premise One is submitting the following modification to our Arizona State Contract – Security and Protection Systems – CTR056385 to take effect upon the optional renewal of this contract.

The increases below are primarily a reflection of historic pressure for increased wages to remain competitive in todays labor market. With CPI over the last year of this contract growing by over 30%, we have found that to maintain our existing labor force as well as support the growth of our company, that our labor costs have increased substantially over the last year. We are still doing the best we can to offer competitive rates to the state with the rate below representing a substantial discount to our standard hourly rates in the private sector.
