The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of an Elevator Maintenance and Repair services for Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn located in Brooklyn, New York. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through twelve months from the effective date of award and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government.
The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 811310, with a small business size standard of $8 million. This solicitation is set aside for small business.
The service is for a total of 17 elevators for monthly maintenance (12 months per performance period), emergency call back repair (approximately 80 hrs per performance period; and emergency call back repair overtime (approximately 40 hours per performance). The successful contractor shall provide an employee with all the required qualifications, experience, education, and credentials.
The solicitation will be made available on or about March 10, 2022 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
