About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 19MU3026Q0018 concerning the Chancery Main Waterline Replacement project (X0037). The document addresses four key inquiries from potential bidders regarding technical specifications and scope clarifications for the waterline replacement work.

The Q&A clarifies critical project parameters: the distance from the Chancery wall to the Motor Pool branch manhole is approximately 55 meters, with a new 1-inch HDPE pipe to be routed through an existing 8-inch pipe. For pipeline demolition and abandonment work, locations A and B require capping in place while location C requires complete removal, as identified on the provided site drawings (Exhibit-A). The 4-inch HDPE pipe from the Motor Pool parking area must be installed within an 8-inch sleeve wherever it contacts soil, including within the Chancery zone. Additional drawing details are referenced as Drawing Exhibit-C on page 47 of the solicitation document. Bidders are directed to review the attached site drawings and exhibits to ensure accurate quotation preparation for this waterline replacement and associated demolition work.
