About this file
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document issued by Piedmont Community College (PCC) in North Carolina for Open End Design Services. The RFQ seeks to establish agreements with three (3) architectural firms to provide miscellaneous architectural plans, specifications, and studies for informal development projects at the college. The contract term is one year with an option to extend for an additional year. Responses to the RFQ were due on January 10, 2025. The procurement process includes evaluation of qualifications, with awards anticipated following the submission deadline and review period. Interested firms were encouraged to contact PCC for project clarifications and to review available campus facilities and documentation prior to submitting their qualifications.
The RFQ establishes an open-ended services framework allowing PCC to issue task orders to selected firms on an as-needed basis for various design projects. Pricing will be negotiated on a project-by-project basis through individual task orders issued to the three selected firms. The agreement structure allows PCC flexibility in distributing work among the awarded vendors based on project requirements, availability, and performance. No specific budget allocation or funding source is stated in the RFQ, as costs will be determined by the scope and complexity of individual projects commissioned under the Open End Services Design Agreement.
