INSTRUCTIONS AND PURPOSE:
The Quoter is to submit a written Technical Approach as part of its quotation package. The Technical Approach will be evaluated by the Government to assess the Quoter’s understanding of the work to be performed, the general and local conditions which exist at the contract site(s), and the method, means, resources to be used, and the timeline, in the performance of the contract. The factors the Quoter is to address and include in the Technical Approach, at a minimum, are listed below. Be as specific as possible.
Your written Technical Approach is limited to a maximum of three (3) 8 ½” x 11” single-sided pages.
1. Labor resources for performing the work to include size of crew, and positions in which they will be performing. When indicating positions, utilize the Occupation Titles identified in the Wage Determination, Attachment 2. Not all positions on the Wage Determination will be used.
2. All equipment, to include hand equipment, to be used in performance of the work. Quantify where feasible.
3. Your strategy in carrying out the work.
4. Will you be removing some of the cut cedar from the contract site?

6. Explain how you will make access to the site(s).

8. The order in which you will perform the work, and the timeline for completion of the areas.
Timeline should be given by month (see FORMAT below). Anticipate Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about October 1, 2016.
