Text version

Wire Baskets:

• Closed-looped wire baskets to provide a surface that will not collect any dust.

• Closed-looped wire ensures there is no sharp edges anywhere in the basket for sterile packaging to tear

• The baskets must have straight 90-degree sides so the inside measurement at the bottom of the basket needs to be the same as the measurement at the top of the baskets

• The baskets for the robotic arms must be a minimum of 31-1/8” wide at the inside lower measurement of the basket and 7” in height.

• Baskets must have a catch integrated to the rear of the basket that prevents the entire basket from sliding out of the runner.

• All baskets must be capable of being divided up with side-to-side and front-to-back dividers with an easy connect adapter clip. Divider sizes need to be:

o 31-1/8” wide x 7” tall o 15-3/4” wide x 4” tall o 23-5/8" wide x 7” tall o 23-5/8” wide x 4” tall

• Baskets must be capable of being divided up with smaller removable drop-in bins which have the closed loop wire to accommodate the storage of small sterile goods. Drop-in Bin sizes below:

o 3-15/16" H Extra Small Drop-in Bin 2-3/4" W x 4-5/16" D o 3-15/16" H Small Drop-in Bin 5-1/4" W x 4-5/16" D o 3-15/16" H Medium Drop-in Bin 10-7/16" W x 4-5/16" D o 3-15/16" H Large Drop-in Bin 10-7/16" W x 8-11/16" D

• Baskets must be capable of using the standard runner with a weight capacity of 30lbs or a stainless-steel ball bearing runner which fully extends out to accommodate the heavy goods

Tray Storage Shelves:

• The system must be configured with both flat wire shelves and stepped wire shelves to maximize the capacity in each bay.

• Both the flat wire shelves and the stepped wire shelves must have an integrated stop to prevent the shelf from pulling all the way out of the runner when loaded with a tray. See illustration above in the basket section

• The system must be capable of using double wide reinforced tray shelves to accommodate long endoscope trays or robotic trays o Shelf Size: 33-7/8” wide x 23-5/8” deep

• The tray storage shelves must be capable of working with a stainless-steel ball bearing runner which fully extends for larger trays that need a heaver weight capacity

Storage System Labeling:

• The Storage System must be capable of integrating a color strip into the upright post to accommodate color coded storage by specialty type.

• There must be integrated product labels which are color coordinated with the post strips for each basket and tray storage shelf

• Product labels must be capable of connecting together vertically and horizontally to accommodate a dedicated label for every product in a basket that is divided up with drop in bins or basket dividers

• There must be a top bay label at the top of every bay with a replaceable paper insert along with a clear plastic cover

• The posts must be capable of incorporating aisle signs which can stick off the side or the front of each post to allow for quick visibility of stock specialty types for efficient order picking

• The color coding must match the hospital color coding for each specialty type using the categories and colors below

Benchtop System:

• The storage system must be capable of integrating a Corian countertop to create a desk work surface customizable in size to the needs of our storeroom.

• The benchtop must be attached to the storage bay with an integrated basket and an open front to allow it to be used as a small desk within the storeroom.
