About this file
This document provides vendor registration instructions for the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, in connection with the Building Repurposing of Mary Cheney Library initiative. The Town of Manchester seeks proposals from established organizations or entities interested in occupying the Mary Cheney Library building, a historic structure located in a visible, accessible public park in Downtown Manchester. The project aims to repurpose the building as a community asset and revitalize the Downtown District through an adaptive use or combination of uses that preserves the building's full exterior while leveraging its character and location. The Town Board of Directors will select one proposal from a qualified entity or team that aligns with the preferred goals, objectives, and uses outlined in the project documentation.
The vendor registration instructions establish the procedural requirements for interested parties to formally register as potential bidders or proposers for this opportunity. This document serves as the gateway for vendors to engage with the procurement process and gain access to detailed project information, submission requirements, and procurement timelines. Parties should carefully review all associated documentation, including the Scope of Work and Project Description, to understand the full requirements and expectations for the repurposing initiative before submitting their registration and formal proposals.
