We are interested in responding to Notice ID NIH-CC-OPC-S-20-004330 Acupuncture Services.

Listed below are the questions:

1. Contract Inquiry: Will the current incumbent continue to provide acupuncture services?

This contract is open to all qualified acupuncturist including the current incumbent.

2. Site Tour: May we schedule a site tour of the designated treatment room for acupuncture services prior to the offers deadline of March 11, 2020?

This is a hospital setting and we do not have a designated room. The acupuncturist treat the patients on their units and therefore a tour isn't possible.

3. Statement of Work: What is the allocated time for each acupuncture appointment (patient assessment, evaluation, treatment and medical documentation)?

We have no set time for the assessment and treatment of the patient. The time will depend on the patient medical condition.

4. Statement of Work: Will NIH provide the patient/client intake forms or will the Contractor be allowed to utilize their forms?

NIH will provide the forms and all equipment that is needed in the treatment of its patients.

5. Requirements and Certification: The Statement of Work reads that the contractor must be credentialed by PPCS. NIH employees/contractors are required to complete a credentialing packet with all requested materials due by the 45th workday. Can you provide a high-level overview of the credentialing packet?

The credentialing package will contain the following:

1.Completed Initial Application
2.Delineation of Clinical Privileges Form
3.Current curriculum vitae (CV) or resume
4.Notarized copy of degree(s) and transcript(s), (qualifying and advance degrees only)
5.Notarized copy of your current license to practice your profession and current registration
6.Copy of current CPR certification, if available, or you must obtain a CPR certification with 6 months from the date of your appointment
7.Acknowledgement of receipt of Medical Staff Bylaws (included in the applicant’s statement on the Initial Application)
8.Three (3) written reference letters
9.Copy of malpractice insurance policy (contractors and consultants)

6. Parking Permit: Will the Contractor have any expenses regarding obtaining a parking permit for our personnel?
