SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The required response date/time has changed from 28-Mar-2022 12:00 AM to 04-Apr-2022 04:00 PM.

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDEMENT 0001

William Hemhauser

PHONE: 240-577-9079

EMAIL: william.t.hemhauser.civ@us.navy.mil

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation response deadline to 04 April 2022 4:00pm EST and publish Questions and Answers.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Questions:

1. Would it be possible to schedule a technical review with any of the engineers on the project? 2. P/Ns 74D751023-2032 and -2031 are marked forged. If this was produced before, who may have the mold to forge the traveler? Can these parts, as an option, be machined as well?

3. There are references to make a P/N out of other P/Ns that point to parts from Boeing. Do parts need to be acquired from Boeing or is there an option to machine them?

Example:

A. Drawing 4200AS0605 states: MAKE P/N 4200AS0605-1 AND P/N 4200AS0605-2 FROM P/N 75D750506-1001, AND

P/N 74D750506-1002 (CAGE 76301), RESPECTIVELY.

B. Drawing 4200AS0607 states: MAKE F/N 1 AND F/N 2 FROM 74D755026-2003 AND 74D755026-2004 (CAGE 76301), RESPECTIVELY.

5. Are solid models available for any of the parts?

6. When do you anticipate awarding the contract and do you have a price target that you care to share?

Government Response :

1. As this is a competitive requirement technical reviews with engineers cannot be had prior to award. Not all prospective offer may have access to the Engineering team prior to award, which would create unfair competitive advantages.

1. Any molds are owned by Boeing and are not available. Machining could be authorized. All requirements of Boeing drawings must be adhered to.

1. Preferred option is to procure from Boeing and alter, but machining could be authorized.

1. Solid models are not available prior to award.

1. The estimate award would be within a reasonable timeline after proposals are received and reviewed. No price targets can be shared.
