Raytheon CBASS Weapon Variant
PR 1300652144
1.0 Background
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Code 8524, requires the purchase of thirty-five (35) Fast-CF PM with Flash Module Boards and five Torpedo Real Time Recorder Cables and to perform an assessment of the PMC connector types for the Raytheon CBASS weapon variant. The Alacron HBR has a yield issue with respect to the Raytheon CBASS weapon; upon inspection by NUWCDIVNPT it became apparent that the pitch on the connector being used by Raytheon is larger.
NUWCDIVNPT has been tasked to investigate the pitch difference between the Alacron HBR yield with the Raytheon CBASS weapon variant and solder on different pitch connectors on to the Alacron HBR and see if that fixes the yield issue. The contractor must assess if the connector pitch difference is the root cause of the incompatibility.
2.0 Scope
The contractor shall test, modify and install Alacron HBR Units with different PMC Connectors for use with the Raytheon CBASS Weapon variant.

4.1.1 The contractor shall test the 35 Fast-CF PM boards (18 modified, 17 unmodified) with the developed test program.
4.1.2 The contractor shall select 18 units, of the 35 Fast-CF PM units purchased, at random and modify these 18 Fast-CFs with other available PMC connectors.

(a) For other than firm fixed priced contract line item numbers (CLINs), the Contractor agrees to segregate costs incurred under this contract/task order (TO), as applicable, at the lowest level of performance, either at the technical instruction (TI), sub line item number (SLIN), or contract line item number (CLIN) level, rather than on a total contract/TO basis, and to submit invoices reflecting costs incurred at that level. Supporting documentation in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for invoices shall include summaries of work charged during the period covered as well as overall cumulative summaries by individual labor categories, rates, and hours (both straight time and overtime) invoiced; as well as, a cost breakdown of other direct costs (ODCs), materials, and travel, by TI, SLIN, or CLIN level. For other than firm fixed price subcontractors, subcontractors are also required to provide labor categories, rates, and hours (both straight time and overtime) invoiced; as well as, a cost breakdown of ODCs, materials, and travel invoiced. Supporting documentation may be encrypted before submission to the prime contractor for WAWF invoice submittal.
