DUCTING AND INSTALLAION

Install new dust collector

Set new collector on existing roof. Provide above roof supports and roof penetration for electrical and ducting

Run new exhaust duct through roof and provide new sheet metal exhaust duct to feed all existing equipment, grinders, deburring stations and metal finishing equipment.

Install access doors and full circle blast gates for the air flow control and shut off at each piece of equipment

All duct fittings to be long radius sheet metal. All tees and fitting to be heavy duty gauge galvanized sheet metal designed for dust extraction systems used in industrial environments

Seal all seams and fittings with duct sealant

The metal collecting drum will be in the room below and exhaust blower equipment to minimize the height of equipment on the roof and additional seismic loads that would be encountered

RIGGING AND UTILITIES

Mobilize crew and equipment to SPAWAR, Pt. Loma

Unload, unpack and remove packing materials

Remove existing dust collection unit and deburring machine to holding area for disposal by government

Move sanding and deburring machine into final position in shop

Install 480VAC Breaker

Run feeder and 110VAC control circuit to dust collector on roof

Run 230VAC circuit to sanding and deburring machine
