Question and Answer – N64267‐17‐T‐0038 – Load Cells
1. Q. ‐ Are all load cells to be used in both tension and compression, thus they would need to be calibrated in both directions?
A. ‐ We are using the load cells in compression only, and need calibration in the compression direction only.
2. Q. ‐ On page 10 it states that the load cells be fully compatible with the Morehouse Universal Calibrating Machine. Does this mean that the load cells should have cables compatible with the Morehouse 4215 digital display (which is normally used with that machine)? Or is there another display that you would be using? Or would you be looking to purchase a new display (or 5) to go with these new load cells?
A. ‐ Yes the load cells need to be compatible with the cables and the 4215 indicator. The cables and indicator will be procured separately.
