STATEMENT OF WORK- DRY DOCK NO. 8 TEMPORARY FLOODING SYSTEM

EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS

Attachment 1

General Requirements

1. The Contractor shall provide all equipment required, to include pump(s), motor(s), drive unit(s), discharge pipeline(s), hoses, fasteners, and gaskets.

2. All equipment shall be installed without any construction or demolition

3. All equipment shall not be required to be hard-mounted to the ground or any shipyard structure for operation

4. Contractor shall be on site d to provide technical support and trade knowledge during the installation and operation of the system. The Contractor will train NNSY personnel on the basic operation of the pump system and controller (turn on, turn off, verify pump system output is at the required level)

Pumping System Requirements

1. Pumping System Capacity

a. Minimum Capacity of 100000 GPM (gallons per minute)

b. Additional redundancy provided by a separate pump(s) of 50000 GPM in the event of a pump failure

c. Redundant pump(s) will also be installed in the available laydown space, per Attachment 2, ready to operate in the event of an equipment failure

2. Pumping system will be submersible

3. Pumping system shall be electrically powered

4. Pumping system can be comprised of one or multiple pumps

5. If multiple pumps are used, the pumps shall be able to be placed directly adjacent to each other to minimize the occupied footprint

6. Total pumping system footprint shall be enclosed within the spatial constraints depicted in

Attachment 2

7. A scaled drawing of the pump system layout, with dimensions, will be provided to NNSY, Code 982, prior to the delivery of material.

Discharge Pipeline Requirements

1. Contractor will provide all required piping, fasteners, and gaskets

2. Pipeline can be comprised of one or multiple runs

3. Pipeline(s) will be sized to meet the total flowrate requirement (minimum plus redundancy) of 150000

GPM

4. Pipeline(s) will be comprised of bolted flange-to-flange segments

5. Pipeline segments must be able to be disconnected and reconnected without welding or special tooling

6. Pipeline segments must be transportable with a forklift

7. If multiple pipelines are used, the pipelines will be laid adjacent to each other to minimize laydown space.

8. The discharge pipeline(s) will be installed within the spatial constraints depicted in Attachment 2.

9. A scaled drawing of the discharge pipeline(s) layout, with dimensions, will be provided to NNSY, Code

982, prior to the delivery of material.

Motor/Power Requirements

STATEMENT OF WORK- DRY DOCK NO. 8 TEMPORARY FLOODING SYSTEM

EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS

Attachment 1

1. All electrical equipment shall be capable for the following:

1.1. Operating voltage between 440V - 480V.

1.2. 60 Hertz, 3-Phase.

1.3. Grounded utilizing 5/8” bolt or ground bar

2. Contractor will provide any required connecting power cables between equipment components

3. Each motor shall be capable of limiting the start-up current to a maximum of 1750 Amps for 6 seconds

4. The Line side of the current limiting device shall have 3-phase male Camlock connections

5. All connections shall be clearly labeled (phase, ground, etc.)
