QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question 1: After going through the SOW getting to Part C -The hotel/apartment rooms shall not exceed 25% of all rooms throughout the performance period of this contract.
Does this mean that if the hotel has 100 rooms we only get the 25% of that.?
Answer 1: In accordance with the CENTCOM Force Protection requirements, occupancy rates of US Forces personnel at local hotels/apartments shall not exceed 25% of the total units of the hotel/apartment facility. Therefore, the Government reserves the right to award multiple contracts resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced technically acceptable contractors on a per occupant price basis. The award process will be as follows: The lowest priced technically acceptable offeror will be awarded the quantity up to their respective 25% maximum occupancy rate. Once the first lowest priced technically acceptable offeror has reached their 25% maximum occupancy rate, the Government will award the remaining quantity (if any) to the next lowest priced technically acceptable offeror until their 25% maximum occupancy rate is met.
The Government will continue to award the remaining quantity to the next lowest priced technically acceptable offeror until all requirements have been awarded.
The contractor may submit a proposal that is less than the quantity specified in this solicitation if their quotation will exceed 25% of their respective maximum occupancy rate in accordance with
CENTCOM Force Protection requirement. The contractor may submit multiple proposals that are within the 25% maximum occupancy limit, however, for this procurement, the minimum occupancy per proposed location shall be no less than 30 personnel.
Question 2: Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number
N4033917TS015 contain requirements similar to a current contract? If possible, please provide the current contract number. Or, is this a new requirement for the government?
Answer 2: This is a new requirement.
