AMENDMENT 0003
Question 1. The Camp Geiger drawing A‐2 finish schedule shows Sealed Concrete as the floor finish. Is there a specification on this scope?
Answer 1. Include Specification Sections 03 35 00 ‐ Concrete Sealer and 03 35 01 ‐ Concrete Floor Joint Filler both specification sections are provided with this amendment.
Question 2. The Camp Geiger drawing A-2 Floor Plan shows 6 windows while the A-4 Elevation Plan only shows 5 windows. Which is correct?
Answer 2. The Camp Geiger building has no windows. Camp Johnson PEB - The Plan on Sheet A1 is correct, 6 windows are to be provided.

Question 3. Please clarify wind load. Drawings call for 137MPH. Spec calls for 130MPH per par 1.2.1.5
Answer 3. Provide for the 137 mph wind speed.
Question 4. Please clarify Snow Load. Drawings call for 10psf. Spec calls for 15psf per 1.2.1.4
Answer 4. Provide 15 psf snow load.
Question 5. Will tributary reduction be allowed in design analysis?
Answer 5. We will allow a Roof Live load reduction per the guidelines of 2012NCBC, however there should be a collateral load of 6psf added for the items being supported from the roof framing members.
Question 6. Specification calls for wall panel to be 22 gauge with ¾" rib at 6"OC per 2.4.1.d. Please clarify this is the designers intentions as standard commercial panel would be an R type panel with 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" rib at 12"OC.
Please also verify that 22 gauge is required in lieu of 24 gauge.
Answer 6. 22 gauge is required - R type panels are acceptable.
Question 7. Drawing A-3 calls for slope of 2:12. Spec par 1.4.6 calls for .5:12. Please clarify.
Answer 7. The building roof slope shall be 2:12.
Question 8. Drawing A-3 show a "T" rib type profile for the roof panel. Spec section 13 34 19, par 1.4.7 calls for standard vertical-rib. Will the T profile be required?
Answer 8. The "T" rib type profile roof panel is not required.

Question 16. Drawing A-3 of both Geiger & Johnson PEB's indicate the columns as tapered however the specifications for both (below) state the columns are straight and not tapered. Please advise which is correct.
Answer 16- Camp Johnson PEB - Provide straight rigid frame columns and beams. Camp Geiger PEB - Provide tapered rigid frame columns and beams.
Question 17. Drawing A-3 for Geiger indicates the eave height as 17' & 12'-4" on Drawing A-3 for Johnson. The specifications for both (below) state the eave height is 13'. Please advise which is correct.
Answer 17. Camp Johnson PEB eave height = 12'-4" Camp Geiger PEB eave height = 17'-0"
Question 18. Drawing A-3 (Geiger & Johnson) indicate a T-Seam Panel (roof) however the specs indicate the roofing panel as "a manufacturers standard vertical rib standing seam which the T-Seam Panel is not. Please advise.
Answer 18. Manufacturer's standard vertical rib standing seam roof panel is acceptable. T-Seam roof panel is not required.
Question 19. Camp Johnson- Provide wall sections for interior walls.
Answer 19. Provide steel stud wall system for interior walls. Steel studs shall be 20 gauge, 3 5/8" steel "C" type studs, with channel sill runner and top runner. Provide 5/8" type X gypsum board each side, full height of wall. All interior walls shall be 10' tall. Brace unsupported walls (wall separating area 101 from area 110) with overhead bracing at a diagonal, located bracing at approximately 5 feet on center.
