About this file
This addendum modifies specifications and drawings for a solicitation seeking fire protection upgrades in Building 1510 at Naval Support Activity South Potomac in Dahlgren, Virginia. The scope of work includes replacement of an existing fire alarm system with a new fire alarm and mass notification system, along with acceptance testing, painting, cleanup and related work. Limited ceiling removal and replacement is required to accommodate the fire alarm installation. The addendum clarifies that work deferred to a future project includes replacement and upgrades to the wet pipe fire protection system, as well as extending fire alarm devices and circuits to new panels installed under the current project. It also specifies coordination needs, testing requirements, and provides a limited hazmat survey and references additional specification sections and a bid schedule attachment.
