3.20 & 3.21

Q: Does the sponson require any modification from original design to accommodate the bow modification. If so, what are the requirements or part numbers? There are ERX numbers listed in specification, are these numbers for the

NEW sponsons?

Answer 1

Please make the following modification to paragraph 3.20 and 3.21 of item 631-11-001:

3.20 Remove the existing and install new sponson and scupper trunks (Wing part number ERX1777AJ414) and associated new hardware for the vessel listed in 1.3.1, in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. When ordering the sponson, the contractor shall notify Wing that the new bow section modification is being installed during the overhaul of the craft and the sponson will required to be longer to ensure proper fitment.

3.21 Remove the existing and install new sponson and scupper trunks (Wing part number ERX8655FL414) and associated new hardware for the vessel listed in 1.3.2, in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. When ordering the sponson, the contractor shall notify Wing that the new bow section modification is being installed during the overhaul of the craft and the sponson will required to be longer to ensure proper fitment.

Question 2

The only question we have is according to Evinrude, The Phoenician is not listed as one of their qualified Tech

Reps. Is their listing on the specs the approval to use them as the 009-90 or should we go directly to Evinrude in

Maui as the official tech rep?

Phoenician is an authorized dealer.
