SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q. The RFP indicates a Base Scope of 20 days to support Smart Cloud. Is our response simply to fulfill that number of days of support or are we supposed to be bidding the SCCM migration and other tasks separately? In other words, is this RFP a simple request for 20 days of support or are we supposed to be bidding the other tasks separately and in addition to the base support?
A. The requirement is for 20 days application support for deployment of SmartCloud or Maximo 7.5.
Q. Smart Cloud Control Desk is normally installed on top of Maximo 7.5. Is Control Desk going to be a separate environment or will Control Desk be installed on an existing Maximo 7.5 environment?
A. If an existing 7.5 environment, which Maximo 7.5 (high or low)? Smart Cloud Control Desk will be installed on top of our Maximo 7.5 environments on the unclassified (low) network.
Q. Data from MS SCCM is to be loaded. Is it being loaded to Control Desk?
A. Yes.
Q. The nature of SCCM data is dynamic. Is the SCCM data a one-time load or do we need to develop a repeatable load process? Will this potentially be an interface?
A. We are still evaluating the use of SCCM data and relating it to the asset records. If it is determined the upload of SCCM is of value then development of the repeatable load process would be from the available days.
Q. Is HEAT being replaced by Maximo 7.5/Control Desk? Is data from HEAT to be loaded to Maximo 7.5/Control Desk?
A. We will not be migrating any data from HEAT to Maximo 7.5/Control Desk. We will be starting with a fresh database and loading our IT equipment. Our desire is to upload configuration data from SCCM.
Q. In regards to the above questions, please clearly indicate all data migrations and/or integrations that are being requested. This should include the source and destination systems database platforms, system versions, and type of connection with frequency of migration. For example, if data was to be taken from a Maximo 4.1.1 system and moved to Maximo 7.5, please indicate the Maximo version numbers, whether each database exists in a secure or non-secure database (low side to low side), and a description of the "one time" migration (ie. Move all assets, PMs, JPs, Inventory and Work Orders).
A. All data for this installation will either be coming from spreadsheets which would be a one-time load of our IT assets or SCCM.
Q. Has SWFPAC purchased the Control Desk licenses? How many? How many Maximo 7.5 licenses do they currently have?
A. SWFPAC purchased 6 D0LG3LL IBM Maximo Smartcloud Control Desk Authorized User. We are in the process of converting our 20 concurrent licenses to authorized/limited/express licenses, however the distribution is not finalized.
