Performance Work Statement (PWS) for NAVSUP WSS Training Room Display Upgrade Philadelphia, PA

09 January 2019

1.0 Introduction:

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Weapon Systems Support (WSS) provides command-wide Multimedia Technology Solutions (MMTS) services including the training classrooms and business center conference rooms. NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia Buildings 1 & 2 training rooms and business center conference rooms do not have video and audio capabilities that meet the current needs if its users. Current equipment is limited to low light and low definition projectors with minimal or no audio capabilities that need to be replaced by large screen displays. In keeping current with baseline normal technology standards for a classroom or business center conference room, a requirement for large screen LCD Displays with built in audio and ability to connect directly to peripherals is needed.

2.0 Background:

NAVSUP WSS Multimedia Technology Solutions (MMTS) provides audio/video display services for training rooms and business center conference rooms. In keeping with current technology, this PWS outlines the equipment needed to replace old, obsolete high maintenance and low quality video projector equipment currently being used. Equipment currently in use is becoming difficult to support, maintain or obtain replacement parts. Additionally, the new equipment has a long and proven maintenance free shelf life with virtually no offline time and can directly support peripheral audio/video equipment without the use of expensive go-between hardware. Examples of such use for large screen displays in training classrooms and conference rooms are for required indoctrination, mandatory classroom training sessions, conferences, and seminars that are held on a daily basis.

2.1 Requiring Organization:

The delivery address of the organization requiring replacement MMTS equipment as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is the following:
