AREA OF WORK
michael.a.shively Text Box DEMOLITION NOTES (notes apply only to the Demolition Plan):
1.) Remove and dispose of all full height & partial height walls, doors, door frames, counter-tops, base cabinets etc. noted in RED. Where walls are removed, include removal of all associated power/data outlets, light switches etc. and associated wiring.
2.) Remove and dispose of all acoustical ceiling tile/grid/hangers and light fixtures in the spaces indicated.
3.) Remove and dispose of all window curtains and blinds.
4.) Remove and dispose of a portion of existing stairs to accommodate new work.
5.) Remove and dispose of all porcelain floor tile and wall base.
6.) Remove and dispose of wall covering on all walls and bulkheads.
7.) Remove and dispose of all carpet and vinyl wall base.
8.) Remove and dispose of base/wall cabinets, sink, faucet and associated plumbing.
9.) Remove and dispose of base/wall cabinets and counter top.
10.) Remove, salvage and reinstall wall mounted flat screens. Confirm location with the customer prior to re-installation.
11.) Remove, salvage and turn over to the government wall mounted cell phone lockers.
12.) Remove, salvage and reinstall ceiling mounted projection screen. Confirm location with the customer prior to re-installation.
13.) Remove and dispose of stair handrail.
14.) Remove drywall furring around existing structural column (existing structural column to remain).
15.) Salvage existing door and door hardware for re-installation at Lobby (see New Work Plan for more information).
16.) Salvage existing door and door hardware for re-installation at Receptionist (see New Work Plan for more information).
17.) Existing porcelain floor tile and acoustical ceiling tile to remain in portion of stairwell corridor.

DEMOLITION GENERAL NOTES:
1.) All building components and finishes which are to remain in place shall be protected from damage.
2.) Where existing drywall surfaces are to remain, clean and prepare gypsum wallboard substrates to be primed and painted.
3.) For walls that are to be demolished, salvage and reinstall light switches, thermostats etc. in new spaces.
