BARGE TESTING

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1.0 BACKGROUND

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) requires barge testing for multiple test assets to meet Grade A shock.

2.0APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1MIL-DTL-901E; Shock Tests, H.I. (High-Impact) Shipboard Machinery, Equipment, and Systems, Requirements for. 20 June 2017
3.0REQUIREMENTS
3.1The Contractor shall conduct a heavyweight shock test in accordance with MIL-DTL-901E for the Government Furnished Materials (GFM) listed in section 6.0 of this SOW at one deck frequency (CDRL A001, A002). The contractor shall meet the following additional requirements under this SOW:
3.1.1Draft formal procedure and design package for the subject testing (CDRL A002).
3.1.2Offload and install equipment onto the test fixture and prepare for testing.
3.1.3Provide all power to units under test.
3.1.4Provide no less than nine (9) channels for instrumentation on costumer equipment.
3.1.5Provide instrumentation to monitor test inputs to the units under test.
3.1.6Remove and repackage units under test after testing is complete.
3.1.7Prepare and submit formal test report in accordance to the military standard (CDRL A001).
3.The contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact listed below to schedule the shipment of all Government Furnished Equipment/Materials (GFE/GFM) and work to be performed under this statement of work. It is anticipated that work shall begin not later than thirty (30) days after award of contract.
4.0TRAVEL
4.1No travel is anticipated in the performance of this contract.

5.0 GOVERNMENT TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT (TPOC)

To be provided at time of award.

6.0GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS (GFE/GFM)
6.1The Government will provide the following GFE/GFM:
6.1.1Maintenance Interconnecting Cabinet (MIC), quantity 1 – Value $450,000
Approximate Dimensions: 34.25” x 29.06” x 75.33” Approximate Weight: 1283 lbs
6.1.2Launcher Control Cabinet (LCC), quantity 1 - Value $350,000
Approximate Dimensions: 24.6” x 29” x 75” Approximate Weight: 799 lbs
6.1.3Power Supply (PS) – quantity 1 – Value $250,000
Approximate Dimensions: 25” x 24” x 37” Approximate Weight: 580 lbs
6.1.4Missile Control Panel - quantity 1 – Value $45,000

Approximate Dimensions: 12” X 18.5” X 8.25” Approximate Weight: 43 lbs

6.2 The Government will provide all test item equipment, interconnecting cables, operational and checkout hardware.
