About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the manufacture and delivery of three different types of CAD/PAD capacitors to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC, IHEODTD). The contractor, Quantic UTC, is required to deliver sample lots of 300 units of each capacitor type in accordance with the provided government drawings within 18 weeks of contract award. The contractor must also provide a Certificate of Conformance for each lot. The government will evaluate the samples and provide results within 4 weeks. If requirements are not met, the contractor must provide additional sample lots.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sole-source procurement from Quantic UTC to provide the required capacitors. This is being undertaken under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) for soliciting from a single source, as Quantic UTC is the only known vendor capable of meeting the government's requirements. The period of performance is 26 weeks after contract award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is N5NEXP9DK131, and the Federal Supply Class (FSC) code is 5910.
