About this file
The file is a Questions and Answers document related to a 20-foot by 30-foot metal shed solicitation from the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. The document contains a specific inquiry and response regarding the ramp for the overhead door area. The questioner sought clarification about the ramp's purpose when no ground framework or structure exists, and the response indicates the ramp is only necessary if there is a lip or door frame at the bottom of the roll-up door to facilitate moving large items. The response also notes the shed will be installed on a concrete pad, eliminating concerns about building elevation.

Text version
Question 1 Question about the ramp for the overhead door area. If there's no framework / structure on the ground, where the overhead door is at. Wondering what the ramp you referenced will be used for then.
Answer 1 - If there isn’t a lip/door frame at the bottom of the roll up door, the ramp isn’t strictly necessary. If there is a lip there (like a door frame) the ramp is there to ensure large items can be rolled in via the roll up door. This is going on a concrete pad, so we shouldn’t have to worry about the building being lifted or anything like that to need the ramp.
