Note: If the system is comprised of multiple WRA(s) list the first WRA followed by the SRA(s) in that WRA and then list the next WRA followed by it's SRA(s) etc.
Red (R): A part that is not in production by the original manufacturer. No FFF (Form Fit and Function) part is available that’s in production. High cost and high risk resolution due to redesign and requalification.
Yellow (Y): A part that is not in production by the original manufacturer. A FFF (Form Fit and Function) part is available that's in production. Qualification Issues, requires in circuit testing, minimal cost, minimal risk resolution.
ORANGE (O): A part that is still in production by the original manufacturer but a Life-of-Type buy date has been issued by the original manufacturer on the part. LTB cost, no risk resolution.
Green (G): A part that is still in production by the original manufacturer or an authorized aftermarket source i.e. Rochester Electronics, Lansdale, E2V/QP Semiconductor, etc. No cost, no risk resolution.
Gray (G): A part that is currently under research to determine its obsolesce status.
COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf): By definition are software or hardware products/parts used in commercial applications and environments that are ready-made and available for sale to the general public. COTS products/parts require a manual survey of the manufacturer to determine the obsolescence status.
Current Health Status: Based on current obsolescence and current availability of parts can the OEM supply the required Quantities, as specified by PMA299, that currently are needed to support new production, spares and repairs of the specified Part Type (WRA/SRA/COTS) P/N. (Green if YES and Red if NO)
2 Year Health Status: Based on current obsolescence and current availability of parts can the OEM supply the required Quantities, as specified by PMA299, that are needed to support new production, spares and repairs of the specified Part Type (WRA/SRA/COTS) P/N for the next 2 years. (Green if YES and Red if NO)
5 Year Health Status: Based on current obsolescence and current availability of parts can the OEM supply the required Quantities, as specified by PMA299, that are needed to support new production, spares and repairs of the specified Part Type (WRA/SRA/COTS) P/N for the next 5 years. (Green if YES and Red if NO)
CDRL/OMIS BOM STATUS: If a BOM has been delivered to PMA 299 list the CDRL Number if not List "NO".
