About this file
The document is a Milk Bid Special Conditions file for Iredell-Statesville Schools, covering the procurement of milk products for the 2025-2026 school year. The bid outlines special conditions for potential vendors, with the contract term spanning from October 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026. Delivery frequency will be negotiated based on individual school size and storage capacity, with a minimum of 2-3 deliveries per week, and delivery times flexible beyond the standard 7:30am to 2pm window.
Pricing terms are specifically detailed, allowing bidders to utilize an escalation/de-escalation clause tied to raw product market value. The initial bid pricing must remain firm from receipt until October 1, 2025, after which vendors may adjust pricing up to four times between October 1st and July 31, 2026. Any price changes require submitting a notice and market value documentation to the district 15 days prior to the proposed effective date. Vendors must also be prepared to manage facility access, including holding keys and resetting alarms for deliveries outside standard hours.
