About this file

This is a Facility Lease Agreement executed on October 13, 2025, between the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, acting on behalf of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (Athletics), and the University of Nebraska Office of External Relations (Lessee). The agreement governs the lease of Athletics facilities for a specific event and includes comprehensive terms regarding facility use, liability, insurance requirements, and operational compliance.

The Lessee is permitted to lease the Memorial Stadium East Club Level 4 facility on March 3, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM for conducting the Legislative Dinner, with all times inclusive of setup and teardown. The facility rental fee is $3,600.00, and estimated direct costs are $466.00, for a total estimated rental fee of $4,066.00. Payment is due on or before April 3, 2026, or within 30 days of receiving the final invoice. The non-refundable security deposit of half the facility rent is waived. The Lessee is responsible for all direct costs and must obtain comprehensive general liability insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate, naming the Board of Regents as an additional insured, along with automobile liability coverage ($1,000,000 combined single limit), workers' compensation coverage with an "All States" endorsement, and professional liability insurance for athletic trainers. The agreement prohibits alcoholic beverages without written Athletics approval, requires sponsor approval at least 30 days prior to the event, restricts use to the Legislative Dinner only, and prohibits any assignment or subletting without prior written consent. Athletics retains all rights to facility control and operation.
