About this file
This document is a Preliminary Long Term Contract Market Research Questionnaire from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime. DLA is conducting market research on transitioning the support for F-35 tires from Lockheed Martin. The questionnaire provides product details, including qualified part numbers and annual demand quantities. DLA is interested in receiving long-term contract proposals for these F-35 tires. Companies are asked to indicate their interest, confirm if the items are commercial, and provide estimated delivery times and earliest start dates. DLA states any resulting contracts would be firm-fixed price, FOB destination, and evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The related federal contract opportunity is a sources sought notice for F-35 tires under the Global Tires Program.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
DLA LAND and MARITIME
POST OFFICE BOX 3990
COLUMBUS, OH 43218–3990
Strategic Acquisition Programs Directorate (SAPD) Preliminary Long Term Contract Market Research Questionnaire
DLA Land and Maritime is looking at possibly transitioning the support for the F-35 tires from Lockheed Martin (LM). Attached you will find Product Item Descriptions and Packaging information as well as the Qualified Part List (QPL). The QPL information is accurate; however, you will not see it published on the QPL right now. You will also see the Annual Demand Quantities (ADQ). We have not been given the ADQs from LM or the Joint Program Office (JPO). The information was based on what we could ascertain from the units that we knew of using these tires. If you know a more accurate ADQ, please feel free to let me know.
Any awarded contracts based on the solicitations built from this market research will be FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination, no quantity ranges and will be evaluated in accordance with Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. The contracts would also be Requirements Contracts. If you have any questions, please contact me, Charles (Chuck) E. Mielke II at charles.mielkeii@dla.mil.
