Question 7 PWS 7.4.1

“Successful completion of the Navy Medical Command’s Medical Staff Services/Credentialing & Privileging (C&P) program and holds a current Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Directorate (CCPD)- BUMED Credential Manager Certification.”

Based on our research, it is our understanding that there is no BUMED Credential Manager Certificate. Could the Government provide the name of the course that would produce the required certificate? If there is not a certificate available, request the Government remove this requirement from Para 7.4, Contractor Qualifications.

Answer 7

Newly assigned or appointed Medical Services Professions (MSP) who require the Credentialing and Privileging Course must coordinate with Centralized Credentials & Privileging Directorate (CCPD), BUMED Jacksonville, Florida to arrange for MSP training as needed.

Question 8 PWS 3.3 We are required to provide all costs associated with attendance at the Medical Services Professional course. Is there a course fee required for attendance?
