Q&A 2

1. Based on the Government's answer to question 31, Amendment 2: "COST FOR TRAVEL WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE JFTR, BUT IT WILL BE PRICED WITHIN THE CONTRACTOR'S PROPOSAL FOR EACH FIRM FIXED PRICE CLIN. THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES. ALL CONTRACTORS ARE EXPECTED TO TRAVEL TO THE SPECIFIED TRAVEL LOCATIONS EACH YEAR AND THE FIXED PRICE SHOULD

BE PRICED AS SUCH."

To price travel on a firm fixed price basis, the government needs to provide offerors a firm fixed travel schedule. Please provide the following firm travel information.

A. Dates/Places of Travel for Base Year, Option Year 1, and Option Year 2.

Dates are unknown at this time. Locations are listed in SOW. Trips are done on a yearly basis.

B. Number of Personnel required for each trip listed:

As stated in Q&A all members will travel according to their CLIN.

C. Specify whether the current stated duration of each trip includes travel days, or, is the length of each conference.

Trip does not include travel days.

1. Please acknowledge the following: On a firm fixed price CLIN including firm fixed price travel costs, if the government directs actual contractor travel that is different from the travel requirements in the solicitation under the changes clause of the contract, the contractor is entitled to submit a request for equitable adjustment for each travel change.

A. Will the Government guarantee lodging at one of the Government hotels/lodges on Okinawa for the personnel attending the conference?

Government lodging may be available, but will not be the responsibility of the Government to pay or coordinate.

B. Will the Government provide ground transportation for contractor personnel while in Okinawa?

No.
