QUESTIONS FROM PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND ANSWERS FROM GOVERNMENT SOLICITATION (M00264-16-T-0144)
Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED)
The following is a reply to the following questions submitted by Industry as it pertains to this solicitation:
Question 1: Does the Executive Summary page count of five pages also include the table of contents and the compliance matrix?
Answer 1: Yes.
Question 2: Will the Government allow us to provide a table of contents in each volume? If so, will it count towards page count?
Answer 2: You are allowed to provide a table of contents in each volume and it will count towards the page count.
Question 3: Is there an incumbent? If yes, what’s the incumbents name, historical spending amount and contract number?
Answer 3: The incumbent is Logistic Services International, Inc. Contract M00264-13-A-0004-0021 for $463,943.23.
Question 4: What is the historical staffing level for this effort? Historical title of the position(s)?
Answer 4: Historically, this requirement has been fulfilled by 2-3 Full Time contractor personnel;
however offerors are expected to propose a staffing approach demonstrates the offeror’s capability to perform all of the tasks outlined in the PWS.
Question 5: Will the Government allow an extension for submittal of proposals till 25 SEP. Based on the holiday period and relatively short response time frame previously required.
Answer 5: No, the Government will not allow an extension for the proposal at this time.
Question 6: Should I include the cost of student materials, i.e. folders, pencils, paper, handouts, ect in my bid, or, with the exception of handouts, is it the student's responsibility to provide their own items in this category?
Answer 6: This effort is not for instructors; student materials are not a requirement of the PWS.
Question 7: For the purpose of having the correct amount of handouts available to the students, How many students will be trained at one time at each location?
Answer 7: There are no students in this effort.
Question 8: I intend to include videos in my presentations; therefore, will the necessary video equipment, and, operator, be available at each location?
Answer 8: Presentations to government will have necessary video equipment, operators, and will be in compliance with MCEN regulations.
