About this file

This document is a Limited Sources Justification and Approval (J&A) for a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to procure Puller System Components. The Air Force is seeking to award a commercial, individual contract on a limited source, brand-name basis to the lowest price offeror. The requirement is for the purchase of various Puller System Components, and market research determined that Parker Hannifin is the sole manufacturer capable of providing the required items. As a result, the Air Force concluded that this acquisition should proceed as a full and open competition using the procedures in FAR 8.405 to obtain the best value for the government. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number FA812624Q0039 for Puller System Components.
