The project involves the design and construction of a redundant force main system for Lift Station 61, a critical wastewater infrastructure component. The City of Phoenix is accepting sealed bids for this construction project, with submissions required at the Design and Construction Procurement Bid Box located on the first floor of Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85003, before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The document establishes the technical requirements and specifications for constructing the redundant force main system, including pipe sizing, materials, installation standards, and connection points to the existing lift station infrastructure. Bidders must demonstrate familiarity with wastewater system design standards and municipal construction requirements applicable to Arizona. The project represents a significant capital improvement to Phoenix's water and wastewater infrastructure, addressing operational resilience and preventing potential service interruptions. Specific pricing, funding sources, and contract terms are subject to the formal bid solicitation documents, with the award and contract execution anticipated to follow the bid opening and evaluation process outlined by the City of Phoenix.
