About this file

This is a Cooperative Stewardship Agreement (Contract No. L25-09300305) entered into between Perrin Ranch LLC, represented by Michael Macauley as Managing Partner, and the State of Arizona through the Arizona Game and Fish Commission and Arizona Game and Fish Department. The agreement establishes a habitat improvement project on the Perrin Ranch property in Arizona, with the Department providing reimbursement for the Cooperator's implementation of the project designed to benefit wildlife populations and the general public.

The project involves a ceramic lining application to the interior of a 100,000-gallon steel water storage tank, with the ceramic lining serving as part of a larger project strategy that will extend an existing waterline to the storage tank and then feed into an existing tire trough to provide water to both cattle and wildlife. The Department will reimburse the Cooperator up to $30,000.00 for materials, labor, and heavy equipment costs required to complete the project by June 11, 2026. Equipment purchases with a fair market value of $5,000 or more per unit are excluded from reimbursement. Payment will be made within thirty days of receipt of itemized invoices. The agreement extends for ten years from the last signature date, with the Cooperator responsible for ongoing operation and management of the drinkers to ensure year-round water availability to wildlife, particularly pronghorn, elk, and mule deer in Game Management Unit 10. All work must comply with EAC M10-08025232 before commencing.
