About this file
This document is a Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition for a U.S. Coast Guard procurement of Medevac IIA Litters.
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking to procure five Medevac IIA Litters, with an option to purchase up to five additional units, on a brand name basis from Lifesaving Systems Corporation (CAGE Code 64249) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). The Medevac IIA Litter is a specialized rescue stretcher approved for use on Coast Guard rotary wing aircraft. Lifesaving Systems Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer and owns the technical data, so it has been determined that acquiring the rights to the data would be uneconomical. A combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov, and all responsible sources may submit quotes which will be considered. Award is anticipated on or about November 19, 2024, with an eight-week delivery timeline after receipt of order.
