About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 23-01 issued by the School District of Okaloosa County's Purchasing Department in Florida. The addendum concerns a solicitation for UV-C Virus Kill Systems for Facilities & Maintenance, with the bid due date extended to August 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM CT. The contract's effective dates will be September 13, 2022 through September 12, 2023, with an expected Board approval date of September 12, 2022. The document provides responses to vendor questions, clarifying that alternative UV-C systems will be accepted provided they meet or exceed specified requirements, and that installation is not required.
The addendum specifically addresses questions about the ULTA24 Fresh UV-C Virus Kill System, confirming it is CARB approved in April 2020 and has a specific model number. Vendors are instructed to submit brochures, literature, and certified lab virus kill results with their proposals. All proposed systems must include full details and specifications, and must meet or exceed the bid specifications to be considered. The document emphasizes that bidders must carefully review the amendment and ensure their proposed systems comply with the district's requirements.
