About this file
This document is a Certificate of Insurance Requirements for Standard City Contracts issued by the City of West Sacramento. The form outlines mandatory insurance coverage specifications for vendors and contractors engaging with the city, requiring comprehensive liability protection across multiple insurance categories. The city mandates specific coverage minimums, including $1,000,000 per occurrence for Commercial General Liability, $1,000,000 per accident for Commercial Automobile Liability, statutory Workers' Compensation, and $1,000,000 per claim for Professional Liability (if applicable).
The insurance requirements include additional provisions such as naming the City of West Sacramento and its officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional insureds, providing primary and non-contributory endorsements, and including separation of insureds clauses. Vendors must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) that provides thirty days' written notice prior to any cancellation or material changes, with a specific Additional Insured Endorsement equivalent to CG 2010 0714. The document also requires a Waiver of Subrogation Endorsement for Workers' Compensation and offers a Workers Comp Waiver option for self-employed contractors with no employees.
